Artist & Creator
marguerite quinlan is a Sligo-based artist working with word, textile, and paper. Her practice is rooted in deep listening — to place, to people, and to the quieter layers of experience that often go unnoticed.
She writes short pieces, performs spoken word, and creates visual work by layering text onto photography and handmade materials. A member of the Easkey artist group, marguerite is socially engaged in collaborative projects and community-based creative work.
Her work invites connection — to ourselves, to each other, and to the more-than-human world — through simple, thoughtful acts of making.
At Nourish & Flow, marguerite brings ‘crafting care le chéile’ to life beneath the Star Tent, beside the mandala, right at the heart of the festival. This shared, living piece becomes a quiet gathering point across the weekend, where people can drop in, take a moment, and gently contribute.
Through small, simple stitches, something collective begins to form, a piece that holds presence, connection, and the energy of everyone who pauses there. It’s a soft, grounding space woven into the centre of the weekend, drawing people back to themselves and to each other.
